Where: St.
Paul's Churchyard, London EC4
What:
This
architectural masterpiece by Sir Christopher Wren should be
on any London sightseeing list.
This sprawling
cathedral is notable for its artistry and design, but
also offers a fascinating glimpse at England's religious history
and, as a bonus, affords one of the best views of the Thames
and the London skyline from its dome (you will need to climb
530 narrow steps to get there).
The Whispering
Gallery, the
crypt, the treasury and the chapels surrounding the main
transepts
are fascinating sights too, and should not be missed.
