What: Lincolns Inn is one of the four great Inns of Court (law), which have the power of calling to the bar. The law library at lincolns inn, built in 1846, is the finest in London and contains over 70,000 volumes.
Of particular architectural interest are the early 16th century gateway to Chancery Lane and the lnigo Jones chapel erected in 1623.
