What:
A sparkling romantic comedy about "a guy,
a gal and Mae West."
Two
New York loners, Jo and Charlie, meet at Mae West's grave
site. Through their mutual admiration for the voluptuous
blonde an unlikely romance develops. As the unlikely courtship
progresses,
a
celebration in songs and laughter
of Mae
West's
racy
life and career is magically woven into the story.
"Sheer brilliance, you really should come up and see it
sometime." - says The Guardian
The play
was written by Claudia Shear who also stars as both Jo and
Mae West. Kevin Chamberlin appears as Charlie
while Bob Stillman plays the phalanx of men in Mae West’s life.
The same cast appeared in the show when it made its UK debut
