What: In Jazz Age Chicago, two jailed murderesses - nightclub singer Velma Kelly and the ambitious, wide eyed Roxie Hart - manage to get acquitted and team up to form an unusual nightclub act, competing with each other for newspaper headlines and the attention of their debonair lawyer, Billy Flynn.
